It is Spring, which means it is time to think about plants and anticipate what sort of flowers might soon jump from them. I like to imagine small blossoms curled up into buds, attempting to contain themselves the way we do when we are about to say “boo” to someone. The element of surprise is almost impossible to master calmly.
