I have always liked stones. They are a good weight to keep in your pocket, to keep you from falling off the planet. Here is a large moss agate pendant. It is rounded and glassy, clear milky white with a map of green veins giving the appearance of lichen or blue cheese. One could look at this stone for a long time and never quite get to the centre of it or untangle it.
Moss agate contains neither moss nor agate. It is a member of the quartz family, and contains manganese or iron. It is said to be the gardener’s crystal, grounding and balancing.
